Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Taskinogo liveness detection API and website. By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to them.
1. The service
Taskinogo, operated by eSoftver d.o.o., Bavaništanski put 334, Pančevo, Serbia (PIB 113339582, MB 21848484), provides a server-side API that returns a real-or-spoof liveness verdict for submitted face media. We may update or improve the service over time.
2. Acceptable use
You may not use the service unlawfully, to process media without the necessary rights or consent, to attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or to resell raw API access without authorization.
3. Plans and rate limits
Usage is subject to the call volumes and rate limits of your plan. We may apply fair-use limits to protect the service. Overage may be billed where indicated on your plan.
4. API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all activity under your keys. API calls must be made server-to-server; do not embed keys in client applications.
5. Your responsibilities
Where you submit media of your end users, you are responsible for informing them and obtaining any consent required by law. You remain the controller of that data; we act as your processor.
6. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: submitted media is processed and discarded, no biometric templates are stored, and we keep only a request audit log.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Liveness detection is probabilistic and may produce false results; you should not rely on it as the sole control for high-risk decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for abuse. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Serbia.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
